Answer & Questions
Information on how to install Trail Angel
- I've installed the trail angel but the child bike leans on one side
Have you used the 3 cardboards included on the box?
if not the problem could be due to it
- Can the child steer his/her bike when it is attached?
The front wheel of the child’s bike is lifted off the ground, the handlebar is locked and the adult has complete control over all the movements. The child can still enjoy pedalling without having any effect at all on the speed or direction of the adult’s bike.
Information on using Trail Angel
- Is it a problem if the child uses the rear wheel brake?
We suggest instructing the child not to use the brakes when being towed behind the adult bike and to practise in a private area before venturing into public places. With good instruction this will not be a problem.
- Is Trail Angel suitable for use on rough or unsurfaced terrain?
Trail Angel has been designed and tested for on-road use. Rough or unsurfaced terrain could present riding situations for which the Trail Angel was not designed or tested; however if the terrain is not particularly uneven, it can be used regularly without any problems.
